Music on the Hill Event at Salem Art Works

Salem, NY – On June 25, from 4-8 pm, Salem Art Works welcomes the public onto its grounds to enjoy Music on the Hill. This family-friendly event showcases local food, great music, and beautiful vistas atop the Cary Hill Sculpture Park.

The crew at Salem Art Works will serve up their famous gourmet pizzas made fresh in-house, accompanied by local craft beers from Taylor & Sons Brewery. The Saratoga-based rock band ‘Let’s Be Leonard’ rounds out the evening with a live performance starting at 5.

Admission to Music on the Hill is by donation – contributions of any amount will be accepted, and all proceeds support youth programming at Salem Art Works.
Tickets for pizza and beer can be purchased separately at the admission gate. Salem Art Works merchandise, including iconic SAW t-shirts and hats, will also be available for sale.

Music on the Hill is an extension of Salem Art Works’ popular Music and Pizza series. By moving the event to the top of the property, guests can now enjoy fabulous panoramic views of the surrounding countryside while relaxing in the cool evening air, surrounded by great food, music, and friends. Free parking is available at the base of the hill, and shuttle service will be provided throughout the evening. All events at Salem Art Works are handicapped accessible.

A second Music on the Hill event will take place on August 20th, and will feature a chicken BBQ by the Salem Boy Scouts, craft beer from Argyle Brewing Company, and music by Salem locals Al and Kathy Bain.

Salem Art Works (SAW) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Salem, NY. SAW supports emerging and established artists dedicated to creating new, progressive work, and promotes understanding and appreciation of contemporary art within the region.
