This workshop is available to beginners, meeting weekly over 6 consecutive weeks.
Basic instruction will include safety, tool and equipment use, and shop protocols. Techniques covered will befire lighting techniques and temperature control, identifying appropriate working temperature, maintaining tools and equipment, hammer control, tapering, basic curls, shouldering, riveting, hot cutting, simple twists, and “white” work. As students develop their skills and understanding, instruction through demonstration will be tailored to students individual interests.

Cost: $300.00; Workshop fee includes materials and complimentary 3 hour studio time
Requirements: Participants must have close-toed shoes or boots, natural clothes, and hair tied back
