Recreation

Cary Hill Sculpture Park and its four miles of trails are available for use by the general public every day from dawn to dusk. Three seasons of the year, vehicles can easily drive up Cary Hill and park at the top to take in panoramic views of beautiful Washington County, NY. From here, there is also access to a network of trails winding between Cary Hill summit and the Back 40. Hiking, horse-back riding, running, biking, sledding, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, and picnicking are just some examples of the many ways you can enjoy our grounds and trail system. After a fun day on site, be sure to stop in at the SAW Office to say hello!
