Founded in 2005 by Anthony Cafritz. Salem Art Works is dedicated to supporting both emerging and established artists in the creation of new progressive work, as well as promoting the understanding and appreciation of contemporary art within the region. Based upon this tenet, SAW offers opportunities in four focal areas:  cultural events, exhibitions, educational workshops, and artist programs.

New Switch Backs On Cary Hill Sculpture Park Just in time for summer the Cary Hill Sculpture Park is getting a complete make over.  The steep hill is now much easier on hikers and cars thanks to our new switch backs. We  have flattened out the land for easy parking area's. The view from the top is as beautiful as ever.  The Sculpture Park is now perfect for picnics, completed with benches and hibachi grills at the top. Make a day of it and  soak in one of the best views. To see more photos, click here.
