Salem Art Works offers onsite housing for resident artists and workshop participants on a first-come, first-serve basis. No walk-in’s. We recommend booking 1-2 weeks in advance.

Blocks of housing can be reserved for group residencies, retreats, and shop rentals.

Indoor rooms: $60 per room, per night (1-2 guests)
Arthouse: $40 per room, per night (1-2 guests)
Tent Platform: $20 per night (1-2 guests), $10 per additional person maximum of 5 people

Food is not included in the housing rate. To join us for meals, you must stay for 1 week or longer. The rate for meals is $75 per week. Everyone participating in the meal plan will be assigned a cooking shift.

Everyone helps clean up after themselves.

Guests must be 21 or older to stay except the Family Residency during Salem Teen Arts.

No pets may stay overnight. All pets must be on a leash on the property.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy:

A 50% deposit is required upon booking overnight accommodations. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of your stay.

Cancellations thirty days before the start of the residency will receive a full refund. For cancellations after thirty days but before two weeks we reimburse all but $50. Cancellations with less than two weeks’ notice will not be refunded.
